CoachActive is Australia’s first online platform that connects trainees with private coaches, in the sport, health and fitness areas.
The brief was to create a website with a private member area and a mobile app interface. CoachActive mobile app offers an very easy way to research, compare and choose the right coach for each individual thank to:
An advance search engine
A simple price comparison
A review system to score your session
A chat to communicate with the coach
A easy booking system
The challenge was to build a system that could provide a safe, realiable and trustworthy experience for both, the coach and the trainee's safety. Coaches needed to pass identity and police checks, and were screened for their qualifications, experience and credentials.
THE MAP
The first step was to create an application map to work over the key user flows, such as search, filter, shortlist, and book coaches. The map allowed me to determine the scope of work and organising the project in stages to make it easier to manage.

The mobile app design was divide in 3 different stages:

The on-boarding and registration process
Coaches store management system
CoachActive was also designed to help professional coaches and their business. With an array of easy and interactive digital tools, the system helps coaches promote themselves, gain more visibility and manage their business from their own smart phone. They can receive bookings, collect payments and send communications automatically, saving them time so that they can dedicate more time to their own clients.
